What Multipark's interior wash is

Our interior wash was designed for people who live with their car every day and know the cabin is what you actually notice. The exterior impresses from a distance, but the cabin is what you smell, what you touch, what accumulates dust, brake dust, coffee crumbs and beach sand. When we take your car at the airport or one of our city locations, a trained team works through it in phases: deep vacuuming of every crevice (under seats, rails, glove box, trunk), vent blowing, plastic decontamination, and targeted treatment of the console, steering wheel, handles and dash.

This is not a 'courtesy wash' — it's a professional service, with certified products, microfibre cloths zoned by area (to avoid cross-contamination) and a protocol that guarantees consistency. Every car leaves with a final-state record, including photos on request.

When it makes sense

It makes perfect sense to book an interior wash before a long trip, after a beach or ski weekend, after transporting animals, or simply as quarterly maintenance. Many of our clients use their parking stay — the car sits at the park, they return from a trip and find it spotless inside, ready for the next work week.

It's also the ideal service before selling the car or handing it back at the end of a leasing contract. Fresh scent, restored surfaces and like-new plastics matter to final price and negotiation.

How we treat the cabin

We start by removing anything the client leaves for treatment (floor mats, child seats, personal belongings — stored in a sealed bag). Deep vacuuming follows, with specific nozzles for tight corners and seat rails, where dirt tends to pile up. Next we treat the plastics with a product that cleans without leaving the 'greasy' finish that attracts dust — and that protects them from UV, the main reason Portuguese consoles go white.

For the steering wheel, handbrake and gear knob — frequent-contact zones — we use a specific degreaser and finish with a gentle conditioner. Inner glass is cleaned with a dry microfibre followed by one dampened with diluted isopropyl alcohol, to remove the oily film left by the AC and by occupants' breath.

We finish with a discreet fragrance — clients can request 'no fragrance' if they're sensitive.

Warranty and transparency

On request we send before/after photos via WhatsApp or email. If the interior wash doesn't meet expectations, we collect the car and redo it at no charge within 7 days — that's our service guarantee. Every intervention is logged in the vehicle history on your Multipark account, so you know exactly what was done and when.

The service is compatible with EVs, hybrids and combustion cars. We don't use products that may damage leather, Alcantara or sensitive piano-black finishes — if you're unsure about your car's finish, mention it when booking and we'll adapt the protocol.
