Full detailing

Detailing is the top layer of automotive care — everything beyond a careful wash or an isolated polish. A full Multipark detailing is an integrated service combining deep exterior (chemical decontamination + clay bar + multi-stage polishing + ceramic sealing) with deep interior (extraction-washed upholstery, leather restoration, odour removal, plastics and glass treatment). The car leaves in a state that visually reads as 'new' — even on 4-6 year-old cars.

This service takes time. A full detailing typically runs 2 to 3 working days, with the car staying at our facility overnight. Not done 'in a rush' or 'one afternoon'.

Three client types. First, owners who love the car — heart-of-the-collection car, Sunday car, classic, high-value vehicle — and want to pass it on in new condition. Second, anyone selling who wants to maximise price — a full detailing can raise perceived price by €1,000-3,000 depending on brand and model. Third, buyers of a mid-to-upper used car who want to 'reset' — drive away in concours condition.

Doesn't make sense on heavy-use cars (taxis, Uber, reps doing 60,000 km/year) where the visual return fades in 3-4 months. There, regular maintenance (bi-weekly hand wash + quarterly sealant) is more effective.

We start with a complete photo inspection of the body under hard LED light. We document every scratch, stone chip, parking mark. The client sees the photos before we proceed.

Pre-decontamination wash with snow foam and rinse. Followed by chemical decontamination (iron fallout removal, tree sap, dried bugs, industrial contaminants) with specific products. Then mechanical decontamination with clay — your hand passes over the paint and feels the difference; a decontaminated car has the texture of glass, a non-decontaminated one has the texture of sandpaper.

Two-step polish (or three-step in specific cases) with paint thickness measurement at multiple points per panel. 85-95% visual defect correction. Secondary decontamination with IPA (diluted isopropyl alcohol) to remove any residual polish oils.

Ceramic coating rated 2-4 years (per package) applied in controlled conditions — temperature, humidity and cure time scientifically managed. You drop the car off and collect it with an invisible ceramic layer that gives deep gloss, extreme water beading and chemical protection against most automotive contaminants.

Day two, we treat the interior with the same detail level. Full removal of mats, child seats and accessories. Deep vacuuming with specific nozzles for corners, rails and fabric roofs. Extraction of all fabrics — seats, headrests, roof, door panels.

Leather or Alcantara: cleaning with pH-neutral specific product, followed by conditioning. Plastics: cleaning without greasy finish + UV protection. Glass (interior + mirrors): progressive two-pass microfibre cleaning, streak-free. Anti-odour treatment with ozoniser.

Mats go back clean (hand-washed outside the car). Delivery with natural fragrance sachets if the client wants, or fragrance-free if preferred.

A full detailing is the starting point. To keep the result, we recommend quarterly visits for light refresh (hand wash + ceramic check + quick interior clean). We provide a written 'detailing maintenance plan' with target dates and do/don't. With proper maintenance, the car keeps concours condition for 2-3 years.
