Detailed description

§01

The difference between a roll-through wash and Multipark

Anyone who knows their car knows a bad wash leaves a mark — literally. Portuguese automatic tunnels, with their rotating brushes and sponges shared by thousands of vehicles, are responsible for most of the swirl marks you see in sunlight on dark paint. Multipark's exterior wash is hand-done, two-bucket, with a specific microfibre mitt and a protocol that avoids any contact that could scratch.

We start with a snow-foam pre-wash — foam covers the whole body and softens dirt before any physical contact. Five minutes pass, we rinse with controlled pressure and only then move to the hand wash. The mitt is rinsed between panels, in a separate bucket (the classic two-bucket method that makes all the difference).

§02

What's included

The standard wash covers body, wheels, wheel wells, bumpers, windscreen, side and rear glass, handles, front grille and badges. Door rubbers get a specific conditioner that prevents drying and cracking. Exterior plastics (side skirts, trim) get a finishing product that revives them without a greasy look.

At the end we apply a short-term synthetic wax (4-6 weeks) that protects paint until the next wash and reduces dirt adhesion — simple, honest, effective. For more protection, we offer upgrades to a polymer sealant (3 months) or ceramic (6-12 months) — we discuss at booking.

§03

Wheels and critical details

Wheels get a specific pH-neutral decontaminant that dissolves brake dust without attacking aluminium or lacquer. We use a soft-bristle brush per wheel individually, then a thin brush for the bolt holes. The back of the wheel — where dust builds up most — is treated too.

For glass, we use an ammonia-free formula that doesn't damage films (many modern cars have at least one filmed window), finished with a waffle microfibre that removes every streak. Mirrors get a specific treatment and, on request, we apply a hydrophobic product that repels rain above 60 km/h — particularly useful on northern motorways.

§04

Details that matter

Every wash ends with an inspection: we check no product has been left in handle corners, window trim or rubbers. We photograph the final state for the vehicle history on your account. If we've spotted a visible or suspect damage (scratch, dent), we log it — for your protection and ours.

Exterior wash is often combined with interior wash the same day, making use of the parking window. Clients who park for a week or more often drop off dirty and pick up spotless.
